I stayed with family for two separate occasions, over two weeks in India. I last stayed at the hotel in September 2022. Firstly, the hotel is well located close to CP, Barakhamba Road Metro Station, and New Delhi itself. A wonderful welcome with the scent in the lobby which is a masterpiece. The hotel has lots of art features which add to the ambience. The room is fairly sized, clean and has a well-designed bathroom with a shower and a bathtub. A TV, safe deposit box and kettle are included as standard. Blackout blinds are also a plus. A view of New Delhi, especially from higher floors. The staff are delightful, helpful and always smiling, especially the room attendants - namely, Gaurav, Jitendra, Dipa, Sandip and Sunny. All the staff say 'Namaskar' which is a polite gesture, including the security staff at the hotel entrance. However, downstairs at reception, the staff are a bit slow with dealing with requests from the rooms and sometimes fail to understand what is being asked. However, Priya was a star and she was able to give us an upgrade for our return stay after we faced an incident with other guests shouting and screaming after being under the influence of alcohol. In addition, we were also given a welcome drink and a box of chocolates which were both kind gestures. Breakfast was somewhere which could be improved further (despite promising changes evident since our last visit). The masala chai is not anything as such and tastes plain and bland - compared with their competition like the Hyatt Regency and Marriott Courtyard which serve authentic chai. This could significantly improve the breakfast alone and make it one of the best in India in my view. Secondly, a better rotation of items would be nice + different varieties of Indian delicacies/sweets would be an improvement as well as some local specialities like Khasta Katchori and Samosa missing from the buffet. Overall, the breakfast has improved including a better layout and improved labelling eg. veg cakes being clear this time! In addition, maybe some Indochinese items for breakfast? The hotel also serves breakfast upstairs when it is full (notably weekdays) but we opted to dine downstairs which is possible if you wait a bit. In summary, an improved stay from last time (keep making progress and it has got the potential to become one of the best 5-star hotels in New Delhi)

It was a great experience, very well located next to Connaught Place only 10 min walk, very comfortable room with fluffy beds and very clean and welcoming thanks to kindest housekeepers Rakesh and Abadal. All the staff is very helpful especially the team of Le petit cafe who took good care of us and so did the bellboy Khyat Singh. Also an amazing spa and salon. We highly recommend this place and will come back .
